The waiting staff spilled some mcc while pouring it, showing a little miss practice due to the tiny space between the tables. The wine list is well furnished but prices seem to escalate quickly. The meze buffet was well garnished but stale, too much food exposed to the air; the calamari were tasty; the beef rib was fatty, more than half the weight of meat on the bone; the kabeljou tasted freshly caught and its flesh was well prepared. The chocolate dessert was packed dense with flavor, and the cheesecake was spongy. The presentation of the dishes was well organised, yet the staff didn't take the opportunity to introduced them during the service. The atmosphere was quiet with couples and hotel guests mixing in the dining room. The maître d'hotel, and chef came by and were pleasant. We didn't feel that the menu required an additional R50 per person, as it fell below our expectations.
We had a Sunday evening dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The service was nothing short of brilliant, it was attentive without being intrusive. Shadrack was an excellent waiter and we were also paid visits by the maitre d'hotel and the chef, Aduh Khan.

We had the the meze and tapas buffet as a starter, a very good selection of top quality dishes and products. As a main we had the kabeljou, cooked to perfection.
For dessert we had strawberry cheese cake and strawberry ice cream. The ice cream was excellent, but the cheese cake average at best.
On discovering that we were celebrating our anniversary we were served with complementary kir royals. This was a very nice touch.
Will definitely visit again and have the meze and tapas buffet as a main.
