The service throughout the night was very good and even though we did have some out of the ordinary requests, they were more than willing to accommodate us. One of the sous chefs also came out to see how things were going for us.

The ambience of the place is very pleasant. The tables are nice and big so you're not always bumping into someone else's shoulders. The decorations are old fashioned and rustic which adds to the atmosphere.
The meze table that they setup for starters where you could help yourself was absolutely amazing. There was a wide variety of food to choose from which would satisfy anyone's taste. I had the kabeljou which was perfectly cooked. The pea puree was something really different but I really enjoyed it. The prawns that topped the kabeljou were unfortunately a bit tough because they were overcooked. I was a bit disappointed by dessert as it seemed like it was pre-bought stuff and not made in-house (or it just wasn't made well).
All in all, a very good experience.
They do the basics exceptionally, perfect service paired with great food. Loved every second of my dinning experience
Punchinello's was a bit difficult to find as it allocated in the Southern Sun Hotel across from the Montecasino complex (in the Pivot Centre). However, it was well worth the find. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the wait staff very attentive and the good amazing. It was truly an evening spent enjoying great food and wine with company - definately rates for a repeat!
I dine in restaurants all over the world. Punchinello's was one of the best dining experiences I have had. The service was amazing. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. The host was welcoming and even the Chef came to check on us. The food was divine. The attention to detail was much appreciated. Will definitely be returning soon.
I received a warm welcome when I got there. Served by a very friendly waitress. The atmosphere was laid back and family oriented. The food was good although it took a bit long. The downside was being served the sorbet before I got my main meal. I didn't get that at all. Overall though I was quite happy and would go there again.
