We had an enjoyable evening and the food was good. Maybe a bit too quick between courses as it was very quiet.

I am so glad I am part of this website as I was able to find this hidden gem nestled in the residential area of Umhlanga. I booked here for my birthday last night and it was definitely something special! from the moment my boyfriend and I saw the lights through the rain we were amazed at the beauty of the Hotel. Joe, greeted us at the entrance and escorted us to our parking as well as open my door and escort us to Seh, our waitress. The restaurant was impeccable! The view and attention to detail is simply superb and nothing is over-looked. We were seated in a little corner and could enjoy both the spender of our surroundings as well as remain closed off from the other diners. The staff knew that it was my birthday and really went out oft heir way to make us feel special and cared for. Our waitress Seh was attentive, polite, friendly and jovial. she made dinner a breeze and even further explained the dishes so we could make the best choice for our individual tastes. As our table was cleared off after our main meal, the chef as well as the waiters brought me a beautiful brownie birthday cake and sang to me, this was very special and considerate of them. All 3 courses were simply divine and left us both very full and happy! It was finding somewhere new and trying new cuisine that we normally wouldn't have. This coupled with the amazing service we received will definitely mean we'll be heading back soon :)

Ambience was relaxing... even with the downpour of rain outside... nothing like arriving and being escorted with an umbrella to the entrance.
Food was out of this world... so good that I will definitely return!

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food. The waitresses could have been a little more attentive-a few times we had remind waitresses about various requests and I never did get the black pepper I wanted to have with my pasta dish. However, the service was friendly and the surroundings very upmarket. it was good to try a new restaurant. Recommended.
