We were met at the main door by a friendly doorman who greeted us professionally and showed us where to go.It was the Sharks and Western Province rugby final and I asked the manager (Sihle) where there TV was for us to watch the game before our meal. He immediately organised us a room where we could watch it. A waiter came to take our drinks order and we watched the first half in absolute style. A major storm hit at the time and DSTV ost signal. We went downstairs to start our gastronomic experience. Nuh was our waitress who tended to us very well. However when asked about the dishes she was not to clear on the explanations thereof. More training perhaps to know the dishes well and how to present it to the patrons. We ordered the marinated prawn tails and beef carpaccio. Both starters where exceptionally presented and very well combined to create subtle flavours that fused well. The beef carpaccio was well portioned and extremely flavourful. For our main meal we ordered the charred fillet (one medium rare and the other medium well) which were both cooked to perfection. The mushrooms were amazing and the combonation of both button and large brown mushrooms were unique as was the taste that came with the way the large mushrooms were prepared. The desert was the only slight dissappointment. We ordered the chocolate and caramel pudding with ice cream and found that the chocolate cake was too dry even with the caramel and ice cream. However the taste was rich and very specifically chocolate. The red wine by the glass was of good quality. The service was excpetional and Sihle even came to announce that the Sharks had won. Payment was also dealt with swiftly and the whole experience was rounded off well by the doorman whishing us well and hoping to see us soon. Excellent expereince and I would recommend Endless Horizons to all I speak to.
I ordered medium rare of filet stake as main course but it seemed well done almost. Other foods and services were splendid, so it took me slightly disappinted.
