It was a beautiful evening. We were given a table outside on the porch. The waiters were very attentive and were around often to fill our glasses with wine. From reading the reviews of last year, it's clear that many of the suggestions made by guests were implemented. There were three dining options - meat, fish and vegetarian. Overall, the food was average. The chicken livers starter was way too filling and would have been better served on a smaller scale. My partner did not enjoy the steak. The highlight of the meal was definitely the dessert - the white chocolate in pastry was divine.

In a charming garden setting tucked away in Sandton, with efficient attentive staff and good food we enjoyed a delightful relaxed lunch . Knowing it was a quiet personal celebration, the delightful owners themselves brought a celebratory festive platter of scrumptious little pastries of chocolate deep fried rolls, lemon curd tartlets, crème anglais fruit topped bites ...a great kindness. We believe at night it is like fairyland with myriad lanterns and lit trees !
We will certainly come again

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
