The food and service was really great. However, when ordering the beef fillet, they didn't ask how we'd like our meat to be done. Otherwise service was good.
The place doesn't really have ambience, it's very chilled though so can't complain much

The service was excellent, from arrival to the very end. Helpful, accommodating and really friendly which made interaction with the staff comfortable. I also loved the fact that the restaurant immediately corresponded to me after making the reservation with additional comments.
The restaurant itself is fairly small and it was a quiet evening but it's an absolutely beautiful area with a lovely water feature to compliment the relaxing atmosphere.
It was noticeable that the restaurant made effort with restaurant week. Beautiful printed menu's, additional freshly baked bread baskets prior to our orders, etc. - it was much appreciated.
The food was lovely and absolutely good value for money. Well presented, large portions and delicious. Afterwards we also had a lovely stroll down Maude street, experiencing a bit of the Sandton night life and looking at the city's beautiful lit skyscrapers which definitely ended the evening on a high note. So bonus for it's perfect location!
I would most definitely return to the restaurant. I would love to try a Sunday lunch with family and a breakfast on my next visit.
Big thanks to the Atrium on 5th team for making our experience one to remember.
We had an excellent experience. The food was great, enough to satisfy, the service outstanding. It is located at near the reception of the hotel and close to the glass lifts and it is very open. This did not dampen our experience.

The german cheesecake for dessert was good but we felt like it may have needed a custard or ice cream or something to go with it. The chocolate moose was lovely.

Read full reviewWhen arriving, we were greeted by professional staff and the hotel / restuarant itself is really spectacular in appearance. We were seated alongside the Koi pond which was really nice watching them from our table. The restaurant wasn't busy at all which made the ambience a bit bland. When we ordered the menu was not the same as the menu online. We had already chosen what we wanted in our mind before arriving so it was a disappointment to see that it was different to what we were expecting. They also never had some of the dessert options but the manager was very accomodating and told us that we could choose anything off the desert menu in return. The staff really were lovely and full of energy and polite. The food how ever was not bad, the chocolate fondue that we had for our dessert was delicious, however our mains were not as good as expected. The sole had an overbearing fishy taste (yes I get it is a fish, but it was a tad bit overbearing). The fetucchini dish was nice, however it did lack in the overall satisfacton region.
