We had a great experience at delheim! The service staff were friendly and let us taste the wine before ordering a bottle. The foodwas so tasty it was the best pork belly I have ever eaten! Most restaurants make it too sticky and sweet this was lovely and crisp crackling good flavor! The starter was sooooo tasty and very filling it was more than enough food! Lovely setting will go back!
The food was excellent - the soup very special. The service was good and very friendly. Wonderful experience and would encourage everybody to visit the restaurant. Wonderful surroundings.

Luckily we had fantastic service from the restaurant manager personally, who graciously and skillfully steered back on course to what the Restaurant week special booking entails. We were delightfully surprised with food both beautifully presented, and maximally tasty. The wine paring suggestions (which we'd forgotten about) were an adventurous discovery into Delheim's treasure chest. About Delheim
German gemütlichkeit is the order of the day in our Garden Restaurant, situated in a stunning setting. On clear days guests have a beautiful view across to Table Mountain in the distance. The restaurant offers a selection of dishes ranging from cheese platters to traditional German , Cape Malay and South African food.
Eat al fresco on the garden terraces in summer, or cosy up in the ‘Downstairs’ cellar in winter. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and tea, and also caters for small private functions. Bookings are advised, especially on weekends and holidays.
Our menu offerings have been fine-tuned to look and taste even better than it was before, without losing that ‘homely’ feel.
