Even though it is in a mall it has a great ambiance and safe parking. Ribs are amazing and fab dim sum
What a great experience for a first time visit. Will be back.
The food at Ben Wei was excellent - I love it that we had 2 stater type dishes and one main. The sushi was fresh and I enjoy the fried wantons the most. Our portions were generous and service was quick and friendly. Will be back.
Such a delightful evening at Ben Wei - I feel a penchant for the spot loading. Gracious waitress hosting us who strove to inform us on what to expect.

Will certainly be back - would love to try the entire menu.

We all had the only starter on the Restaurant Week menu - dim sum. I've had dimsum in many places, and these were quite acceptable. The potstickers were flavourful, and the vegetable dumplings had real Chinese mushrooms (shiitake) in them! One seldom finds this in restaurant dishes, due to the high cost of the dried version of this delicacy. My husband had the kung-pao chicken. This dish can vary substantially from one restaurant to another, but my husband enjoyed it, remarking that the peanuts were tasty, and the amount of chili adequate. My son ordered the Rainbow Roll and was happy with it. I had the Crispy, Spicy Beef. I adored this dish: beef tender with a crunchy exterior, in a sauce with attitude. There was a hint of chili, and the pickled veg in this sauce added a delightful tanginess. Served with plain steamed rice, it's a dish I would specially drive around the mountain again for a repeat. Coffee/cappucino was included in the price. My husband had a strong cuppa, and my son and I had cappuccini: the brew was very good, and better even than some "coffee shops" I've visited.
