The food was divine! My only comment would be that the amuse-bouche was served at room temperature and not hot/warm.
Our waitress, Onike, was excellent. She served us well and her performance in the show was outstanding. I enjoyed how the waiters give you a good amount of time in between the courses, not too much...

The ambiance was lovely - very intimate.
The bathrooms could do with a bit of TLC.
Not a great start when they did not have our booking ready, but luckily they could still accommodate us. As our reservation was not noted, they did not have our dietary preferences. But, the way they recovered after this was worth mentioning. The food – from 1st to the last (6th) course – was great! The service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry so that provided us with ample opportunity to enjoy the live entertainment by the singing waiters. It was a great evening and we’ll surely be back!
The food was good. The service was friendly however we were not attended to most of the time. Nonetheless, the performance was amasing.
We enjoyed the meal but was disappointed in the evening’s overall experience.
The performers were good, but the volume much too loud. We ended up sitting outside in the cold to try to hear each other over the loud music.

The performers were good, but the volume much too loud. We ended up sitting outside in the cold to try to hear each other over the loud music.
We had to ask for our waiter several times, and was apologised to, but the other waiters never picked up the slack or offered to help. One even said “I apologise, Bryan is very busy with the big table, but I’ll send him as soon as he’s able”. Not, as one would expect, “Can I help you in the mean time”
Then the bill came. We made the booking via Restaurant Week, where I understood the food would be at a cost of R320 per person, thus R640 for the two of us. We ended up paying R700 for the food. The R200 deposit paid was not deducted, which I luckily picked up. And there was a 15% service charge added, which we were informed by our waiter (Bryan) was for the performers. So, on top of the non-negotiable performers pay (which we were not told upon during the booking process) we also had to tip the waiter (for poor service I might add). We ended up paying about a lot more than what we expected to pay due to “hidden costs”.
Like I said, the food was great, but our overall experience was not good and not what I expected.
