It was really hard to find the restaurant, had to read a review online to locate it.
The service was really great, very friendly staff.
The views outside are great for chilling. I sat and read a book-great break. It is really chilled and great, nice break away from the hustle and bustle.
The food was very tasty! I would certainly go back again
The great eastern was a really nice experience. The service was excellent with a thoroughly entertaining waitress looking after us. The food was nice although lacked a little balance. Sometimes being too hot or too salty. The view more than makes up for it and made for a lovely setting to dine in. I recommend going in a group and ordering multiple items off the menu so you can share

I inquire as to how I must order for restaurant week from the normal menu, starter and mains or main and dessert and was told by the waitress I can order 5 items from starter menu and a mains. I got the impression that she wasnt sure about what I asked for. So I asked again and this time I was told only two item from the starter, So I ordered 2 item from stater menu and a mains. When the bill arrives, I was billed for full portions, so I spoke to the manager who rectify it and he said the waitress made a mistake, I asked the waitress why she handed me the normal menu and not restaurant week menu and then she denied I said Im with restaurant week after I asked twice about it. Makes my blood boil.
Food was good but visit at own peril
This is a cosy little hidden restaurant on the outskirts of Melville (not in the main area and easy to find parking)

The Saki is also yum and they have a big selection. Its a little pricey but good. Please double check with your waiter if you ordering the 90 or 180ml. We ordered a 90 but the waiter brought us the 180ml and we only realized at the end of the evening making restaurant week an expensive experience.
The mains were good. I liked mine - sticky chicken strips with a moso suop. My wife and friends that ordered the other chicken option got some wings on the bone and were not happy with that choice.
The dessert is something that they need to look at as both options were not great and we all left them.
What a nice & happy experience! The service was attentive without being overbearing and we all loved the food, especially the starters which were different & delicious! We will be back.
