This was truly a wonderful experience all round. The care this chef, front of house team and even the security provides made the excellent food even more worth it. We made sure our party is big enough to order every option on the Restaurant Week menu. Our clear favorites were obviously the sun-dried tomato pesto, the marrow and cauliflower starters, and the anglaise dessert. Saying that, everything was spot on and it is difficult find negatives. A non-negative is that portions are on the big side, and the Tiramisu is a bit heavy after a large meal. Again, if the only complaint is that we had more than enough to eat, there's not much to fault with that in itself.

Expect fine dining starters and desserts. With a robust, delicious main in the middle.
The chef also comes to visit every table to explain how he sources and prepares the dishes which was very interesting. Ambience is calm with nice low lighting which makes a pleasant change from all the modern urban spaces with exposed bulbs.
Try the Bompass tartar and creme brulee, both are simple dishes that will blow your mind.

Now under the helm of new Executive Chef Sandile Mntambo, our kitchen delivers a new and exciting offering. Our menu is inspired to bring delectable food in a relaxed atmosphere.

One can expect refined dining and excellent quality food, cooked, paired and plated well with unique combinations and flavour profiles. Only the finest ingredients are sourced whilst also utilising the fresh produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden.

Wine continues to be a feature with our astounding glass-fronted wine cellar, overlooking the alluring patio and swimming pool. Our cellar contains a well thought out selection of South African Wines.
