I really enjoyed my experience at Chef's Table as I always do. The atmosphere was great because it was the day before the public holiday. But even though it was very busy, none of the staff were frantic, everyone was very calm, super efficient, helpful and professional. The beautiful decor also enhances the atmosphere. They catered for my nut allergy which was really great. The food was delicious as always and very well presented. And we received it really quickly, with no impact on the quality at all. Our waitress was lovely, I couldn't have asked for better service than what we received. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and always speak highly of Chef's Table when I do. And I will definitely be making a repeat visit.

Highly recommend The Chef's Table - the service was out of this world. The vibe also top tier. The ladies and I enjoyed out cocktails as well. The flavours in all our meals were 100% enjoyable.

The Chefs Table is a beautifully decorated restaurant with a lovely open kitchen area where you can watch the kitchen preparation. We sat close to the kitchen which was interesting as we could watch the activity. The downside to that is it was quite hot in that spot. The service was excellent, the wait staff are well trained and several managers were present. On the whole the food was delicious, some dishes more successful than others. Our favourites were the octopus starter, the pork neck and beef fillet mains. The meringue dessert was a work of art but flavour wise, the chocolate overwhelmed the citrus.

Award winning executive Head Chef Mathew Armbruster presents a modern, seasonal menu inspired by the best fresh, seasonal ingredients that Kwa-Zulu Natal has to offer. The open plan kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant, allowing diners to watch the chefs at work and feel the connection to the food and the beautifully plated dishes being prepared.

A world class wine cellar, stocked with unique, vintage wines from South Africa, as well as a selection of International wines, specifically French and New Zealand wines, rank among the noteworthy highlights of the restaurants wine programme, headed by manager of the programme, George Dzubinsky.
