Tops. In every respect. Esp when we informed that we didnt need a dessert, and when leaving a choice of icecream to take home was offered. Every time we visit Gabrielskloof we leave with a good feeling!
Lovely Restaurant Week menu. Was hard to choose! Each dish we had was exceptional. The portions are very generous, the service top notch and the setting beautiful. Very good wines to order too. I can highly recommend the outing.

Great variety on the tasting menu and very generous portions. Nice to see a few traditional South African elements finding their way into the dishes.

The Gabriëlskloof restaurant is owned and run by Frans and Mariaan Groenewald, who have become known in the valley for their hearty, honest and refined soul food.
They are passionate about everything local and source most of their produce from neighbouring farms and villages. Keeping in tune with seasonality, the menu changes often but is always created to please all palates.
The in-house deli stocks a range of charcuterie, pastries and a selection of carefully curated, quality produce from the farm and surrounding area.
