Very pleasant experience!
Given all the glass I saw on the website I assume that the venue would be cold. The flame heaters were a nice touch and took care of that..
Loved the greenery everywhere.
Reasonable wine list
VERY tasty food, LOVED the chili squid starter with bread - only criticism might be that the portions were TOO generous, esp. the lamb!

We had a super winter lunch in a sunny spot surrounded by botany. The starters and desserts we're something to remember. We loved it! Thank you!

The food was great, restaurant is beautiful and ambiance on point. My only thing was that the R350 for dinner was meant to be a special, a saving of some sort since it's part of restaurant week, and yet it wasn't and I feel scammed. The only way you would be benefit from the 350 dinner price is if you had the baby squid and salmon. The other meals, when looking at the restaurant menu, would actually cost less than 350 combined. So for me this is so disappointing. Restaurant week either needs to review this and stop allowing us to be scammed, or cancel restaurant week as a whole.

"Amazing venue and tasty food, but some areas to work on"

Probably the prettiest setting of any restaurant in Joburg. Food was brilliant in places, but salmon cakes perhaps overly hot with no mention on the menu and odd for a creme brule not to have a solid top. Service was very friendly, but absent at times.
