What an amazing experience. We met the owners who visited the table to introduce themselves. The waiters were attentive but bit slow at the beginning. The ambience was awesome. Will definitely return.

The restaurant was not built in the park, but rather with it. The continuity of nature from the flows perfectly into the restaurant. Chef Lance has out done himself with the menu! As a vegetarian I am usually forced into eating a veggie burger, I found myself struggling to choose what I wanted to eat with so many delicious options. I will definitely be back!! Well done team

It is calm and comforting and what was really amazing is that they had round tables that allow for a party greater than 4 but less than 8. Often you are stuck with square ore rectangular tables that do not allow the party to converse easily with one another.
The food was for the most part delicious on this occasion. 3 of us (party of 5) had chosen the salmon gravalax. This was fresh and beautifully presented. One friend chose the watercress salad with the pistachio nuts...overall it was tasty....but we found that it just looked like a big plate of leaves that did not look too exciting.
The Portobello mushrooms were a surprise, not what we were expecting and definitely tasty.
Now we get to the mains....their pastas were delicious! I had the mushroom linguine and I can honestly say that this has been my favourite of all that I have ever had! It was loaded with exotic mushrooms and even my friends who tasted this dish of mine were in agreement that this was nothing short of amazing.
The chilli prawn linguine was a massive hit as well. A hint of chilli to start the taste buds salivating and a sauce that made the pasta sing!
The last dish that was chosen by 2 friends was not as well received. Whilst the burger looked nice, the burger patty was actually over cooked and very dry. It got to a point that a friend just removed the patty and enjoyed the pretzel bun with the bacon and cheese. We did however inform our waiter of the burger mishap. It was pleasing to note that when another burger was delivered while we were on our dessert to the couple sitting behind us, it did not look as over cooked!
Dessert....we all opted for the cheese cake and chocolate torte! It is unanimous...the cheese cake was a generous portion and was just simply delicious! My chocolate torte had a hint of orange and was decadently rich and delightful.
The service was a tad slow, but for our party, we did not mind as it gave us some time to catch up. However, at the start, it took too long for someone to take our drinks order. Plus we were not offered the drinks list. This is should be the first thing that is on the table even though we did opt for the restaurant week menu.
They have a lovely bar area and an equally impressive cocktail menu...so why not ensure that this is the first thing on offer?
Overall, it was a lovely experience and we'll definitely be back!

My husband has the mushrooms which were minuscule and bland. As a main, I had the steak which was an absolute show stopper. My husband has the prawn pasta which was disappointing and very spicy which overpowered the dish. Carrot cake for dessert was moist with fresh grated ginger for that extra zing but the chocolate torte was quite average. So overall a mixed bag...
Stunning restaurant and really decent food. The service was rather slow though.
