Such a great experience! So relaxed and welcoming, generous portions of delicious food. My only regret is that I didn’t have time to take advantage of the blankets they provide for a post lunch snooze

The absolute best way to spend an afternoon. Nothing beats eating outside on a lawn under the shade of large trees. The perfect way to social distance. The food was incredible with some interesting and delicious taste combinations. I love this communal way of eating, with platters of food delivered to the table, from which we help ourselves. The portions were also substantial in we literally needed the entire afternoon to savour the three courses. A treat from start to finish. Thank you De Meye for an unforgettable experience.

My husband and I were on honeymoon in the winelands and really treated ourselves to the best food names in the area - The Table was by FAR our favourite food and people! It ws honestly some of the best food we've ever eaten, and if you had one day in the winelands, I would implore you to spend it here. Hostess Leigh and chef Brendan are also such incredible people, we had a lovely time chatting to them. The way they take care and support food farms and sustainable community food gathering is just great. Highly recommend!

The epitome of la dolce vita, The Table at De Meye delivers when it comes to refined comfort dishes in idyllic country surrounds.

Surrounded by a charming garden, with long tables shaded by trees, The Table at De Meye evokes images of the French or Italian countryside, complete with languid lunches in idyllic surrounds, wonderful company, and the joy of delicious home-grown food and good stuff to drink.

At The Table they source local, seasonal produce for their menu. They support local suppliers, small-scale farmers and delis, and they buy organic as far as possible. Their menu changes weekly (or sometimes more than weekly) depending on the fresh produce available, so their set menu is always a fresh and delicious surprise for guests visiting the restaurant! They offer a set, three course, sharing style menu.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
