We opted for the three-course meal with wine pairing, and we were not disappointed. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We started with the Lamb Polpette with basil brioche, mint, pickled red onion and feta, which was a perfect combination of flavors. For our main course, my husband had the truffle mushroom pasta with fettucine and I had the fragrant pilaf rice with curried seafood and roti, both of which were cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the recommended wines.

Finally, we indulged in caramel mousse with dark chocolate shards and orange segments, which was the perfect ending to our meal.

Overall, we had a wonderful time. The food, wine, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

Celebrating my parents 30th wedding anniversary at the Old Oak was such a amazing experience, everything was catered for from arriving at the restaurant until we left, the food was exceptional, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming yet elegant.
Will definitely be back!

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
