A very niece experience. The food was great - the soup was out of this world.
Although the service was good and friendly, one never felt that they put in a extra effort to make it more special.

The wine list has some interesting choices. The ambience is cosy and friendly. We had the crispy pork belly as a starter and the flavours were great. For mains my partner had pork chops (which were succulent) and I had the chicken breast - yummy! The lemon tart with lemon sorbet for dessert was divine! We will definitely be back.

On a very hot afternoon, we visited 96 Winery Road for a wonderful lunch.
Upon arrival, we could select to sit inside or outside. Although it was very hot, we selected to sit outside as it was covered. The service was great, and the recommendations were spot on. We chose the pork belly and the calamari steak as starters, both were excellent with the calamari steak my favourite (event though they are known for the pork belly). For mains, we had the Pork loin chop, which was very tasty (recommendation) and very filling. I was too full for dessert, but my friend had the banana dessert, which was most enjoyable.

Was a very enjoyable evening with great food, efficient & pleasant staff, and nice ambiance. The outside seating + the great weather = very pleasant surprise. Highly recommendable.

There is more than enough choices available and it is really nice to receive a proper "menu" even though restaurant week is only once or twice a year. The starters were exceptional - I had the calamari steak option and loved it! My mains the sirloin steak was a winner and the broccoli puree was brilliant. All the staff was very friendly and efficient. We will be back.
