From the security guard outside noticing us looking for the place, the waiter helping us park and afterwards walking us to the car, to the special attention given to dietary requirements and the general service throughout the evening. It is the tiny detail that makes a place special and Clico has perfected this art.
We were given a tasting plate of steak tartare and sweet corn soup (for those of us who could not eat raw meat). For starters we had a charcuterie platter and a winter vegetable salad. For mains we both had the venison - perfectly cooked!! The meat was not dry and the veggies complimented the meat perfectly, especially the mushrooms were extraordinary!! The desserts were baklava (served with a macaroon and white chocolate) and an apple tart (served with almonds, cinnamon and amaretti). A perfect finish to a perfect meal.
To the chef a special thank you for accommodating the very specific dietary requirements of an overly cautious pregnant person!
From the moment our waiter fetch us from the car I knew it was going to be an experience

Love d that the chef came out to greet us and chef if the food was good!
My my wife and I will be back!
I enjoyed the warm winter salad, short rib and chicken.
The ambience is wonderful and so is the service.

The service was top class and the plating of the food was exceptional. I felt the starter choices (only 2) were average at best. The Charcuterie meat selections were fatty and certainly not an Autumn dish. My main, the fillet, was great, very tasty, looked amazing and was cooked perfectly. The dessert was very refined and delicious. Overall, I thought the menu selection was too minimal (although I know it was a set menu especially for restaurant week) and it would have been nice if was a bit busier maybe with a fireplace as it felt a bit clinical. Would like to go back as I think they are on to something great.
The service was outstanding! We enjoyed our meal very much, looking forward to returning when the menu is less limited.
