My first fine dinning experience was nothing short of amazing. My waitress was amazing, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely. I appreciated my waitresses attention to detail. One little thing I’d have preferred to be told upfront is the water… I didn’t know That I’d pay that much for water… if I did, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Otherwise I’ll just take the water money to better fit the complementary bread. Which was lovely. I had a good day!

Sitting outside on a perfect windless day is breathtaking and possibly one of the best views in the city. However, the reception was lukewarm, the service inconsistent and the food mediocre comparative to culinary offers in Cape Town.

Restuarants that participate in Restuarant Week should inform their staff so they are not shocked and unprepared when guests arrive. In addition, ambivalence about participation at a reduced cost is something diners can sense.

Next time I'll go for drinks at the bar.

A disappointment this time chicken was a bit dry and pudding had shrunk from last time we had it. They were taking the tiles up on the deck so the noise was intrusive and the beautiful view spoilt.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

9. What is Restaurant Week South Africa?

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
