I chose - for Starter: mussels in papillote (lbaked in a ovely mix of coconut milk, ginger, chilli), for Main: chalmar fillet (cauliflower puree sooo smooth), and dessert: white chocolate mousse with a buffalo yoghurt ice-cream (beautifully presented).
We also received a glass of wine complimentary.
The restaurant made a special effort which I appreciated, as I am on a gluten free diet.
Service were very attentive!
And sit by the window - IT IS AN AMAZING VIEW!
Great atmosphere, friendly waiters and great restaurant week menu. Will visit again soon.
Bread selection was amazing, waitress very friendly and good.
Starter mussels best we have ever had. Pork terrine also delicious! Fish dish however was not great-sauce was overly salty, as was the calamari. Fillet dish was amazing. Deserts: soufflé looked spectacular, but with the pouring in of sauce and ice cream...

Starter mussels best we have ever had. Pork terrine also delicious! Fish dish however was not great-sauce was overly salty, as was the calamari. Fillet dish was amazing. Deserts: soufflé looked spectacular, but with the pouring in of sauce and ice cream, resulted in a eggy runny mess half way through which 3/3 did not enjoy in the end - also too many hard sugar grains evident in the soufflé. Chocolate mousse desert was pleasant-except the mousse was somewhat Frozen and the fruity jelly on top was VERY sour and overpowering. Wine was divine as always. Views incredible.
The food and wine was exceptional, the service was outstanding and the view is great. A lovely, relaxing lunch.

Working in social media and finance respectively, we have very high pressured positions and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil environment. As a curtsey to other patrons, we didn't take pictures of the various courses, which of course now we regret, as it was simply outstanding!! The dishes were very generous (we couldn't finish all 5 courses), beautifully plated and utterly delectable. The standouts however were the duck with baby beets; and the sirloin served with roasted marrow bones - pure magic! The service was on pitch and with it being restaurant week, it was great value for money. Highly recommended!!

About Jordan Restaurant
One of the first signature chef restaurants in the Cape Winelands, the Jordan Restaurant with George Jardine brings top chef George Jardine’s brand of contemporary fare from city to country. The focus on the flavours of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients is evident from his kitchen vegetable and herb garden to wine barrel fish smoker and wood-fired oven. Expect smoky, smouldering country flavours in simple combinations on a contemporary plate – with signature smoked yellowtail, steamed Saldanha mussels, seared ribeye and springbok potroast. The main ingredient is enhanced by smoked garlic, aubergine, fennel, prune or potato puree. A trip to the walk-in cheese room to select your own board of artisanal Cape farm cheeses with preserves and breads rounds off a spectacular meal.
Vintages from Jordan Wine Estate form the cornerstone of the restaurants wine list. The Jordan Restaurant is also a showcase for exclusive vintages of the Jordan Wine Estate Cape Winemakers Guild wines, along with choice wines from other Stellenbosch wineries.
Cool and contemporary, the restaurant features a tranquil terrace with stunning views overlooking the vineyards and lake next to the Jordan cellar and tasting room.
