Amazing taste combinations paired with beautiful wine. The whipped ash goats' cheese, horseradish vinaigrette and pickled beetroot course as well as the chargrilled venison lion, harissa beurre blanc, chickpea fritter, and smoked aubergine course - to name but two. Great service received from our waiter Chris, giving us a breakdown of each course and the paired wine. Beautiful setting and restaurant. Definitely added the Pierre Jourdan Brut Rose and Pinot Noir Reserve 2015 to our wine collection.
Haute Cabriere is a real gem when not invaded by a large amount of tourists.
The surprise that the restaurant week lunch menue consisted of a main course plus desert was quickly adapted to a starter plus main.

Myself and my friends enjoyed a gorgeous lunch at Haute Cabriere on Saturday. We started off with a wine tasting in the tasting room next door. The wines are all amazing and reasonably priced. The restaurant also has the same wines at cellar door prices.

The food in the restaurant was stunning, we had the venison which was cooked perfectly and so tender. Great service. The only thing I would say is the restaurant inside is very dark and you cannot see the amazing views of outside and unfortunately it was way too windy to sit outside.
Our party of guests thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our "marriage of food and wine' experience from the most professional waitron Anele, copious, exceptional wine and beautifully presented, tasty courses. Every course was well thought out and they complemented each other.
Cleverly all these courses are available on their menu so we will be returning most certainly.
The food and wine pairing was lovely. We had a great and very relaxing evening. Thank you.
