Nicolas, a waitron welcomed us and he was courteous and friendly.
The manager Duncan greeted us from apart but avoided us for the remainder of our visit. There were at most four tables to tend to and two people that cam e to arrange a party.
There is a comprehensive wine list, majorly marked up to the normal prices.
The reason for our visit, the food.
The spanakopita and Greek salad we had as starters were sumptuous.
The Kleftiko, their signature dish, was unfortunately dry. The Mousaka is not your good run of the mill Mousaka but have a taste of Champion Boerewors to it without any Brinjals.
The ambience is of an upmarket restaurant, not hinting on it being a Greek restaurant.
Ample parking available. That is also your view from the restaurant.
O, and avoid the coffee.

About Prosopa
Cuisine: Mediterranean, Greek, Vegetarian
Prosopa
The elegant, stylish interior designed by renowned local architect, Callie van der Merwe, creates a sophisticated, fresh atmosphere at Prosopa, situated in the heart of Waterkloof Heights.
Prosopa’s extensive Mediterranean menu is influenced by the flavours of Greece, Portugal and Spain. The signature lamb dish Kleftiko is deboned leg of lamb wrapped in vine leaves & foil stuffed with feta, fresh tomato, herbs and spices and slow roasted in the oven. An option one cannot stay away from is the fantastic array of mezze one can have on a platter or individually.
The extensive award-winning wine list offers many a gem to be enjoyed beside the fireplace on a cold winter’s night or on the veranda with the curtains blowing in a soft summer breeze.
