With a power outage at home and a ridiculously scary storm that just hit, we were ready for a fine dining experience, and De Kloof did not disappoint!
We were ushered to our table and served gorgeous bread and pate to tide us over as we waited for our starters.
All the starters looked and tasted amazing.
The roasted pork belly that I had as a main was just superb. So succulent and the White Wine poached apples were the perfect accompaniment. I also tasted the mint pea puree that garnished the fillet - amazing!
Finally, and I would go back just for this dish, the Shades of Pale dessert was by far the winner! I was lost in the flavours and textures on the plate. MasterChef would be proud!
Honestly, a great experience and some amazing food (and truffles).
Thank-you De Kloof for spoiling us and turning our dark, wet evening into an amazing culinary adventure!

The offerings were plentiful, inventive, and generally tasty, though I was disappointed with my dessert choice (PB&J creme brûlée). Service started out very good but waned towards the end, when we had to go search for someone to settle the bill and validate our parking paper. The ambiance was nothing spectacular, but the restaurant was clean, orderly, and well maintained with nice views. It was very conducive to conversation. I would definitely visit again.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
