Pigalle was overall a nice experience. Food was of a very good level, although not quite a 'fine dining' experience. We felt that the restaurant staff were rushing us a bit, have removed my wife's starter (prawn and salmon ravioli - very good!) and served an intermezzo sorbet whilst I was still eating my duck liver pate. For the mains, we went with a sirloin and the grilled prawns whilst dessert was tiramisu and creme brulee. The restaurant has nice decor, but a lot of big business tables means it can be somewhat noisy, even on a Monday night.

There is a fair amount of hype around Pigalle at Melrose Arch and it has been on my dining "bucket list" for some time; I therefore had very high expectations of the restaurant.

I found the service was very good and our waiter struck a very good balance of paying our table attention while allowing us to enjoy the cuisine without being bothered too much.

The food was really good! The venison carpaccio starter was amazing while the Mozambican prawns main dish was above par. Although a fixed menu was defined for Restaurant week, I would suggest some flexibility be given when customers have a preference for a specific side dish.

Overall a great experience and I will definitely return.

The service was outstanding. Goodman, our waiter was very professional and delivered everything on time with a smile. The starters and dessert were divine. The staff was very friendly in general.

"Fantastic"
8.7 Cuisine 10 | Service 9 | Atmosphere 7

The food was delicious, timeous and well presented.
Service was excellent, both caring an non-intrusive.
Restaurant was a bit quiet and lacked vibe, but that might just be because of the nature of Sunday night dining
