It was our first time at Pigalle and we enjoyed it all from the start to the end . The staff were amazing and even surprised us with something special for our anniversary. The food was excellent and couldn’t fault anything. Thank you Pigalle for helping us celebrate our special day .

Read full reviewOur party of 5 had dinner at Pigalle on Saturday evening and I can only say we were disappointed. My husband and I have been to this branch of Pigalle several times during the previous Restaurant Weeks and have always had excellent food, so we were very surprised to have such mediocre offerings this past Saturday. All the main courses were horrible - the sirloin was overcooked and tasteless, and the accompanying crushed potatoes were awful and horrible smelling - definitely not appetising. The kingklip had nasty tasting chickpeas/corn salsa and the pork belly was definitely not anything to write home about (skin was hard and chewy, not crispy), the wilted baby spinach was minimal and too salty. The food looked like it had just been slapped onto the plate, the presentation was wanting especially for a fine dining establishment. The waitress was lovely and attentive initially, but as the evening progressed and the restaurant filled up, she became more and more scarce to the point that we had to ask another waiter to call her. The wait inbetween courses also became progressively longer as the evening wore on. The best food eaten was the Squid Bite starter and the Creme Brulee dessert. Otherwise all the other offerings for those courses were also not really up to their usual standard of food. The restaurant itself had a nice ambience, but the food and later the service were definitely not up to scratch. Such a pity, and I'm not sure if we will be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
Very good service. Was disappointed that no prawns were on the menu but waitress did advise that available on a surcharge. Prawns were good. Kingklip was over cooked and a bit dry.
Starters were good, very good presentation.
Creme brûlée is always a hit but found the base of the lemon tart to be a bit thick and doughy. Flavor of filling was on point though
Lovely lunch, service was excellent and we will be back
The food was amazing. Very generous portion sizes. Best pork belly and creme Brule ever. Service from Eric was impeccable. Thank you
