So be careful when arriving early. When we moved across for dinner everything improved. We had a great table outside where we had a beautiful view. The waitress was lovely and helpful, the food was out of this world and the ambience was stunning. Service was not slow or rushed, it was just perfect. Each dish was appetising and the perfect portion size. I went to two of what I viewed to be the best restaurants for restaurant week and this was definitely the winner.

Read full reviewAfter our experience with our first restaurant week outing last Friday, we weren't sure what to expect coming into our second. Firstly the San has an incredible ambience and is situated nicely with incredible views on the deck and a beautifully designed interior. Apon entering you can see the kitchen staff as it's an openly designed kitchen which is great, it's amazing to see how a kitchen works, especially a good one. We were greeted very pleasently and seated with a complimentary appetiser that followed. The service was really good, with two floor manager's always checking up on us too. Fresh bread followed soon after the appetiser. For starters I had the Curried Lentill Chicpea Portage which was incredible. Usually soups do not excite much but this had amazing flavours that was paired with a Sweet potato & Corriander samoosa (delicious). My BF had the Prawn Thermedor with Citrus bisque spuma, plum tomato confit, and a roasted onion pilaff, and once again, amazing. For mains I had Spinach Ricotta Cannelloni with Roasted butternut and Truffeled mushrooms. The cannelloni is all made from scratch and was incredible! My BF had the Tranche Of Salmon Trout, and by now it is clear the amount of thought that goes into the food prepared. For desert Textured I had the Carrot Cake with Caramelized carrots, Daquoise, and Cardamom ice cream. This is not your typical carrot cake, this was an incredible desert! The presenation was beautiful and the combination of the different flavours and textures made it memorable! My BF had the Brown Butter And Raspberry Tart with Black berry ice cream, (by this point i'm stuffed) but was still divine! After our meal we preceeded to have a bottle of wine on the deck next to beautiful views and a perfect ending to a great evening. I would highly recommend the San, really exceeded my expectations!
Fantastic! Food was great! Atmosphere with all the fire heaters was amazing and the service is top notch!
the place is very beautiful, like very beautiful, I'd go back just to be there.
I loved the starter and the dessert, unfortunately the main was just a turn off, but I'm glad my date loved it.
The food was out of this world. Our waitress was good. I will definitely be back for more.
