The Restaurant Week menu has very limited options (compared to previous restaurants visited during Restaurant Week). For starters my husband ordered one of the two options only to be told after ordering that it is 'Out of Stock' and that an alternative is available. I am of the opinion that if you have two options on your menu and you know the amount of guests booked for Restaurant Week you make sure you have those two options in stock. The food was well presented and tasty, but not WOW!Service was satisfying. The restaurant was quiet for a Friday night and therefore lacking in 'Ambience'.

FOOD: We had two options for starters, two for main and one dessert option.
Starter: Either Oysters or Camembert cheese. The Oysters were not available and were replaced with mussels, which were nice. A small round Camembert (good portion) was served, however we could have bought the some at a supermarket and there was no individual (chefs) detail / real input into preparing it.
Main: Either Pork Roast or Stuffed Pepper. We all took the Pork, although it was a nice big portion of meat it only came with about six small pumpkin 'squares' and was as a reult a bit dissapointing.
Dessert: Deep-fried Gelato. This was devine!
We paid for two courses R200 each. We all agreed that for the price we expected a bit more.
The Gin's ordered were very impresive and a treat. If we go back again this will be the main reason.
There were not many people in the restaurant. We enjoyed our time there and the ambience was nice, maybe also due to it not being noisy. The owner was very friendly and even did a small presentation on some of the Gin available.
It is worth a try.
Had a great lunch
Great service, very professional. Food was amazing. We will go back to sample other meals as well as the selection of Gin that is out of this world.
It was a special evening, which was complemented by the knowledgeable service and fantastic food.
