The food was superb.The ambiance was stunning with the exception of the acoustics where ones conversation can be drowned out by the other diners.

This meant that we had to make a special trip to collect our wine, which rather took the edge off our visit.

Our complementary wine was forgotten, as was the question we had posed to the chef. The room was neatly presented with lovely decor. However, as one of three tables full in the whole restaurant, and the only table there for Restaurant Week, we expected the mood to be slightly more lively. In addition, the music was interrupted by advertisements and often stopped mid-song - it appeared as if it was being played from a radio or television channel and became quite distracting. Nonetheless, we had a lovely evening.
