The service was great from the moment we walk in and we walked out happy and stuffed. Amazing way to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday.

I cannot fault the service, attention to detail, managers interaction or the quality of food. The ambiance was lacking and the lighting left the restaurant a bit stark, but other than that I'm happy that we went to experience Pigalle Sandton.
We had an incredible evening. The service was impeccable and the manager Ali was very attentive and very welcoming. The food was very flavorful and the portion size was truly impressive! You will not leave hungry! They also have a great wine list to compliment the food and make it one truly great experience. When in JHB again, I shall return!

The starters were not perfectly balanced, the carpaccio had too much balsamic and the pear and nut salad was very sweet but both were still delicious. The Mains, Cheese and Mushroom Fillet and Grilled Prawns were excellent. The fillet was probably the best fillet I have ever had. The deserts were good but not great, the creme-brulee was a winner with the berry coulis to cut the sweetness but the Ice cream Nut cake with bar one sauce seemed a little lowbrow and store bought, didn't match the venue. Overall we had an amazing evening and will definitely be back for the seafood and fillet.
