The food was excellent. However I do believe restaurants shouldn't offer weekends as part of this deal. They are extremely busy on a Sunday which is fantastic because their food is excellent. We will definitely go back.
Good value for money food.

They ran out of the Creme Brulee dessert option I would have chosen but the Tiramisu was very good. Next time we are trying th epizza. It looked good walking by as it was being served to the other tables. Don't go on a Friday night if you want an intimate romantic restaurant. It was raucous next to the playground and full of life but we liked it.
Divine food with the friendliest staff despite them being extremely busy. It was lovely to see that even the owners came by to each table some time in course of the meals to check-up and chat to the diners.

My partner and I had two delicious meals, the kudu and trout, and both were beautifully presented with great complimentary flavours. It was also nice to have suggested wine pairings with all the meals. We will definitely be going back.

About Luca's Ristorante
Cuisine: Italian
Luca's Ristorante
Luca's Ristorante Italiano, established in 1994, captures the essence of the Italian lifestyle –colourful and flavour-filled. Luca Borella, the prolific hands-on owner, honours centuries old traditions essential to authentic Italian cuisine - simplicity and passion (and... don't forget anything Mamma taught you!!!).
Tuscan influences are evident with classic fresh pasta, seafood, meat dishes and exotic delicacies on offer to tantalize your palate! Food is freshly prepared to order and, as far as possible, homemade. The extensive menu goes hand-in-hand with a collection of carefully selected fine South African and Italian wines ( over 200 to choose from!) gathered specifically to complement any choice of meal. A grand wood-burning oven delivers pizzas that delight the gods (the calzone is to die for!) and slow-food specialities, including rabbit casserole served with polenta and lamb pot-roasted in coffee and apricots, will have you coming back for more.
