Great and relaxed location looking down onto a clean river. Food was superb, as was the service. Definitely worth another visit.

Both of these mains were mouth-wateringly good. For dessert, my husband had carrot cake with citrus syrup and I had a berry and chocolate croissant bake with custard. The portions were generous and we struggled to finish. The ambiance next to the river is peaceful and relaxed, and the staff made us feel welcome, with just the right level of attentiveness.
Pleasantly surprised by a lovely experience ! It is unusual to find a venue that can cater for kids and serve quality food. It is certainly somewhere we will visit more frequently having discovered it during restaurant week
The waitron assigned to us didn't know about the Restaurant Week arrangement and told us we could order from the main menu. Only because I went to ask someone did we receive the correct menu etc.

The overhead light fitting in the ladies toilets was so full of dead insects that the light did not shine down and the lighting in the bathroom was already dim.
Other than that we enjoyed a special time with our dog in a beautiful setting with delicious food. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
