"tranquil and good food "

I had the best grilled calamari I have every had. Both the starter and the main were mouthwatering. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to visiting them again.

"A lovely outdoors lunch"

The service was wonderful, had everyone checking on us all the time from runners to the manager. Menu had a great choice, food very tasty but the ambience was amazing. Even though it was a chilly day it was stunning to be outside near the river. Such a gorgeous place

We enjoyed the day with friends and family tremendously. Lovely to sit outside and not looking onto a parking lot or hundreds of people rushing by to shops. Food was very good and presented beautifully. Thank you

Al Fiume - Italian for 'at the river' - has all the ingredients for a great restaurant: a beautiful setting on a shady wooden deck on the banks of the Hennops River and a restaurateur with a passion for food, as well as the experience to ensure outstanding levels of service. Al Fiume serves food that lives up to our definition of quality: the season's best, cooked with skill and passion and presented with a minimum of fuss.

The cellar at Al Fiume is stocked with a diverse choice of Italian and South African wines. The selection includes everyday drinking wines and wines for special occasions; wines from some of South Africa's best-known estates and unusual wines from smaller estates.

Al Fiume is a restaurant for all seasons: long, lazy summer days on the wooden deck; bright spring days when the first signs of green are starting to appear on the trees overhanging the river; bracing winter days when you might want to work off your meal with a brisk walk over the bridge and cozy autumn days when you can sit snugly in the restaurant and watch the falling leaves floating down the river.

Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
