We really enjoy restaurant week and De Kloof Restaurant was one of the best. The service really stood out as we were served by many people. Everyone was knowledgeable about the food and wine we were having and even though we didn't have one fixed waiter. It's nice to see that all the staff enjoy their jobs and work as a team, nothing was too much for them. The food was also very special, superbly cooked and presented.
My only negative was that we arrived too late to see the beautiful sunset and the views over the golf course. We will just have to come and enjoy another wonderful evening.
This restaurant is a winner in my books.

He rushed explaining the dishes, served the wrong milkshake to my partner who does not drink, and did not make eye contact. The maître de took over and from then it was a totally memorable experience.

Food was exquisite.. very unusual taste combinations & attention to detail was lovely
This was the first time I have been to De Kloof because it is a bit of a drive from Johannesburg. But it was definitely worth the effort. The soup cappuccino was delicious- The ideal choice for a winters day. The service was excellent. And the waiters were efficient and professional. The food was well presented and we loved the menu for restaurant week. Perfect for a quiet Sunday lunch.
De Kloof has a beautiful set up, and the service was excellent- every need catered to. On the menu the food sounded extravagant and full of flavour, it was difficult to choose. The dessert (Asian persuasion) was absolutely perfect, the fondant was so decadent, made up for everything else!
