The food was exceptional and def no small portions were served. The little treats in between like the lovely freshly baked bread and the amuse-bouche was a delightful surprise in addition to their set menu. We were 5 at the table, and we all tried something different from their offering. Honestly, no meal disappointed. Everything was brimming with flavour. Even the cheese platter (for dessert) was exceptional - something that many restaurants skimp on.

The food was beautifully presented and the wine pairing with each dish was spot on. We also appreciated the amuse-bouche at the start, and chocolate truffles served at the end of the meal.
Excellent menu with perfect wine pairings. Can definitely recommend it.
The service and food at Glen Carlou is consistently excellent. Their breads are too good (so we ate too much) and the amuse bouche was a gorgeous roast onion and butternut soup.
The springbok croquettes and the smoked kabeljou starters were fantastic. The kabeljou arrangement was beautiful.

I docked half a star because the pork belly was a little overcooked and dry on the outside.
With the wine pairings and the food the price was a real bargain. If we had gone the previous week I would have booked for a second lunch there, it was so good.
The food and ambience excellent, however I feel that to be asked to pay for veggies is over the top. If that was the case, should have been explained on the menu at time of booking.
