Starter: I had springbok croquettes with pomegranate and beetroot chutney it was divine. Partner had hot smoked kabeljou with baby veg. He raved about it,
Mains: I had pork belly with a crisp chip make from the skin and black lentils, roasted aubergine and red pepper. I really battled to finish the dish it was very filling. Partner had ostrich fillet with fynbos gastrique and vegs.
The service is exemplary and discreet. The wines were really good. And the coffee killed my liver! What more can you ask for?
After we stumbled from the table we went to the art gallery for a look at some of the work there. Interesting and expensive!

We always enjoy dining at Glen Carlou - the food and wine pairings are exceptional. We appreciate that we can always enjoy a different meal with their seasonal menus. Beautiful location, overlooking the vineyards, it is extremely difficult not to fall in love with the venue again and again.

The restaurant really went the extra mile regarding the food, they served bread, amuse bouche and pre-dessert and include 2 generous glasses of wine in their meal. The food was flavourful and the waiter was really friendly
