I was a bit skeptic as I don't ever make reservations in hotel's or shopping malls but what a surprise. The decor is beautiful, and service friendly and efficient. We did't have the three course special as neither of us are particularly fond of desserts. I opted for carpaccio which was delicious and beatifully presented and my frien had the muscles which were equally great I was told. We both had goats cheese ravioli for mains, rich but very tasty. Wine list short but well chosen. Were given complimentary dessert wine which was a special touch and the cuppacino's were hot (as opposed to luke warm I am often served) and deliciously strong.
Just a note, the advert for this facility indicated a five course meal, two starters, 1 main and 2 deserts. When we got there it was a four course instead of the five course advertised menu. Management at the Sugar hotel should have done this in advance.

The meals are simple but flavoursome and the ingredients all compliment each other. The ambience is inviting and what I loved is that the decor and music is not distracting. you end up being able to have an engaging conversation with your dinner partner while enjoying delicious food together. Making Marc's Table the perfect venue for a date night or even a catch up with old friends.

The detail that was small yet vitally important was the fact that the waiters were no informed that at the lunch setting we could have 2 starters and 1 main or 1 main and 2 desserts hence us only being offered 1 starter and 1 main even after querying this fact . The second detail was the fact that my daughter was a vegetarian and had limited options on the menu and was then only offered a risotto as a main . It was disappointing that we could not have been given our second starter and my daughter being vegetarian be given a little more variety in her choice of food being that this was known to the Resturant on us placing our booking .
