This was our first visit to Marc's Table, and what a great restaurant. The staff and owner were friendly and attentive. The food was great - it was sad to see the soufflé not on the menu, but as these did not work out that day, it was omitted on the menu.. It was replaced with tasty fishcakes.

This was our first visit to Marc's Table, and what a great restaurant. The staff and owner were friendly and attentive. The food was great - it was sad to see the soufflé not on the menu, but as these did not work out that day, it was omitted on the menu.. It was replaced with tasty fishcakes.
We tried the ravioli, ostrich carpaccio, fishcakes (all delicious), followed by Pork Belly (tasty espresso sauce, and crispy rind - awesome !) and Rump steak (cooked perfectly, and very tasty), served with bowls of veggies and chips. Desserts were crème brule (awesome flavours) and chocolate fondant (decadent, and rich).
Great food, great service, and a fantastic ambiance made for a great start to restaurant week !

The atmosphere was a bit on the quiet side but that could just be because it was mid-week. Lots of Michael Buble, but it somehow suited the dining experience quite well.
We had a lovely evening in this warm and friendly place. The food was heavenly but what made it extra special was the friendly service. We highly recommend a visit to Marc's table.

The bread board was a nice extra touch and we got a small gift (homemade aubergine chutney) to take home which made the night even more memorable.
