Fantastic service with really good, well presented food

The starter was good but not exceptional. I had the chicken supreme which was over cooked and at the normal price would normally have sent it back.
For the prices, I was not that impressed with the standard of the food.
The service was good and ambiance was ok.

Wonderfully prepared food, and great service; no crazy waving to try and get the waiters attending, you simply start looking up and 2 people are ready to come to your table to address every need! Had a wonderful time.

My partner and I dined at the restaurant during restaurant week. We had the kale kofta's, sole, roast chicken, white chocolate tart and coffee and macaroon dessert.

We don't eat pork and that was the only meat dish of the 3 options for starters. We didn't think the kale kofta's were spectacular as there are so many affordable starters that could have been alternatives.

The sole for mains was done perfectly but there was a tomato sauce on the plate which I didn't think was necessary - it also changed the taste of the dish.

The chicken dish was tasty but the pastry was very dense and inedible.

The desserts were really wow however the coffee tasting dessert flavour was very intense and can be toned down.

I have eaten at quite a few restaurants priced cheaper than onenineone with better cuisine and more value for money so not sure that I would be back.

Service and ambience was great.
