The Fillet steak was supremely soft with a light chargrilled crust - AMAZING! It melted in our mouths and we were very impressed with the quality and flavor of the beef.

We did have a very pesky fly hanging about our wine though that we had to cover out glasses with our napkins... perhaps citrus candles will help to keep them at bay and give a bit more ambiance?
We enjoyed our meal so much that we booked another date before this one was even over!

I was a bit disappointed that after visiting the restaurant in person beforehand to tell them it was my husband's birthday and the hostess making a note and telling me they'd do something special and write Happy Birthday on his desert plate, reminding our waiter and the host on the night, nothing was done at all. The service was unfortunately very average.
This is such an awesome new gem in the Newlands area. I had the best fillet I've ever had here - it was like cutting through butter. And the parmesan risotto side is to die for. It's not the cheapest meal out, but totally worth it!

Steaks were done to perfection, exactly as requested. Steven our lovely solicitous waiter suggested I have a salad with mine when I told him I was Banting. Our Creme Brulee was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. There was an energising buzz in the place that added to our enjoyment.
