Winehouse at 10 Bompas is an excellent restaurant with a very pleasant lunchtime ambience overlooking the lush gardens. The food was beautifully presented and well-prepared. The octopus carparccio was delicious and the cold meat, olives and pate' substantial. We both plumped for the ostrich fillet as a main course which was full of flavour but a bit too well done for our taste.
The service was excellent with Portia been a most attentive waitron and the executive chef also came to see whether we were happy. The wine list is comprehensive. All in all it was a very good outing.

We went to the Winehouse at Ten Bompas for restaurant week and it definitely did not disappoint. I selected the Sous Vide Scallop & Seared Prawn as a starter, the Line Fish for mains and for desert the Mixed Berry Meringue. My husband opted for the Bompas Bone Marrow for a starter, the Sous Vide Beef Fillet as a main and for desert the Chocolate Affair. All the courses were presented picture perfect with great attention to detail, and most importantly, tasted absolutely fresh and delicious. The service was attentive from both the Chef and the staff and the restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere that made our evening felt special. I can definitely recommend this restaurant as a great fine dining experience.

Now under the helm of new Executive Chef Sandile Mntambo, our kitchen delivers a new and exciting offering. Our menu is inspired to bring delectable food in a relaxed atmosphere.

One can expect refined dining and excellent quality food, cooked, paired and plated well with unique combinations and flavour profiles. Only the finest ingredients are sourced whilst also utilising the fresh produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden.
