Service here is the best... from the waiter to the managers, they really do want you to leave with a smile.

Food was just nearly perfect. Some of our dishes were under seasoned...

Overall a good dining experience. We prepare exceptional food at home, so being offered many small, colorful, crafted elements on the plate is a great for us and we were not disappointed! The variety of choices on the menu was more than I expected. Service was slick and waiters covered for one another. Waiters were empowered and confident. All course were attractively presented and compactly arranged with space around to frame the elements. My lamb main course was exceptional with perfectly portioned and cooked meat. Desserts were not only delicious but also had the elements artistically arranged. We’ll continue to support Restaurant Week.

My husband and I always enjoy watching Masterchef, if everything went well for the contestants they put up such beautiful dishes! Well, The Chefs' Table put up the beautiful dishes that we usually only see on TV! The food looked and tasted so good, it was out of this world! Great service as well, everyone was very friendly and we felt very welcome, which completed the whole experience for us. We will definitely be returning for another visit to The Chefs' Table!

Award winning executive Head Chef Mathew Armbruster presents a modern, seasonal menu inspired by the best fresh, seasonal ingredients that Kwa-Zulu Natal has to offer. The open plan kitchen is at the heart of the restaurant, allowing diners to watch the chefs at work and feel the connection to the food and the beautifully plated dishes being prepared.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

4. Are drinks included in the menu price?

In most deals, drinks are not included.

5. How can I change my reservation?

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

9. What is Restaurant Week South Africa?

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
