A lovely evening and delicious food. The amuse bouche was perfect in every way and the risotto was incredible. But for me the stand out feature was the option to have tasting portions of the wine.
The excellent and friendly service, as well as the lovely setting, wasn't marched by the food. The short-ribs were delicious, but the sophisticated and plating plating couldn't hide the lack of coherence in the starters or the chicken main.
It was my first time at Clico, the waiters were friendly and introduced themselves. At one point they were worried my car would be blocked (parking is limited), so the waiter went and moved the car for me. Such service. The food was excellent, we choosing the food and wine paring options and such wonderful choices. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and we be going back again and again.
Had a lovely lunch at Clico with the best pickle I've ever tasted. It was nice that they recommended a wine tasting glass with each meal. Well done on that.

Our amuse bouche consisted of steak tartare with a beetroot purée, which was tasteful. The evening continued with a chacuterie plate and artisan bread to start, which was beautifully put together.
For mains, I ordered the kingklip with a butternut and pomegranate risotto. This dish was cooked to perfection and the flavors complemented each other extremely well. The venison was lovely too, though a little too rich coupled with the parsnip purée.
The dessert consisted of a white chocolate and thyme panna-cotta, which was beautiful on the palate. The macaroon was made to perfection, though the baklava was heavy and a little bland.
All in all in a lovely experience and a restaurant that I will recommend.
