The restaurant had great ambience and we stayed right until the restaurant was closing for the evening. The menu offered variety and I was very happy with each of the courses I chose. I would not hesitate in recommending the meze platter, lamb kleftiko and rooibos creme brulee to anyone who is interested in trying Prosopa's flavoursome Mediterranean cuisine.
What a lovely experience at Prosopa. The set menu had lots of variety to choose from, catering for all ages and tastes as our table ranged from 11 years old to 80!

The service was a bit slow at times, but the restaurant was very full as there was a Saronsberg wine pairing on the night as well. The manager personally came to speak to us and apologised for the slightly slow service which was a nice touch.
I would recommend to anyone who is a Greek and Mediterranean cuisine fan in Gauteng.
The food we had was amazing, bursting with flavour. The starter was huge, but the lamb shank main was merely two small de-boned pieces of lamb shank. While flavoursome, it did not compare to the size of lamb shank sold at similarly priced Greek restaurants.
This restaurant was amazing, a must for sure, but my down fall was the crème brule as it was not smooth as it should have been, as that is the reason for my 4 star on the food.
Excellent Food, Service and Atmosphere. Will revisit for sure, specifically to enjoy the homemade icecream!!!!

Prosopa
The elegant, stylish interior designed by renowned local architect, Callie van der Merwe, creates a sophisticated, fresh atmosphere at Prosopa, situated in the heart of Waterkloof Heights.
Prosopa’s extensive Mediterranean menu is influenced by the flavours of Greece, Portugal and Spain. The signature lamb dish Kleftiko is deboned leg of lamb wrapped in vine leaves & foil stuffed with feta, fresh tomato, herbs and spices and slow roasted in the oven. An option one cannot stay away from is the fantastic array of mezze one can have on a platter or individually.
The extensive award-winning wine list offers many a gem to be enjoyed beside the fireplace on a cold winter’s night or on the veranda with the curtains blowing in a soft summer breeze.
