I enjoyed our dinner tremendously. The ambience, service and food were all of the highest class. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
The evening was perfect.
Service was excellent, friendly staff that allows you to enjoy your evening without hovering over you every 2 minutes.
Cuisine was full of flavour, beautifully presented.
Loved the simplicity of the whole lay out with the cream colours, lights and the music, lovely bottle of red wine.....
All added up to a little box of magic.
The service and ambiance of prosopa was amazing. They have an incredible wine list. The Food was good. The mains arrived really fast which made me question the freshness but the taste was really good. The food presentation could be a bit better. On the plus side best creamed spinach I have ever tasted!!

We will definitely go back for the moussaka.

Read full reviewWe visited Prosopa for Restaurant week on 21 Apr. They had us & the other restaurant week patrons seated in an outside verandah type area, separate from the main restaurant. It was closed-in (thank goodness, because it was freezing) & had nice big heaters which was great. However, the other section of the restaurant (that we could clearly see through the glass) was having a wine pairing evening. Had I known this, I would rather have gone to the wine pairing. I understand the restaurant week bookings being kept slightly separate from the rest for order/admin purposes but it made me feel excluded, like I was sitting right outside a party I wasn't invited to. That being said, the food was excellent and I would like to try them again in the future.

About Prosopa
Cuisine: Mediterranean, Greek, Vegetarian
Prosopa
The elegant, stylish interior designed by renowned local architect, Callie van der Merwe, creates a sophisticated, fresh atmosphere at Prosopa, situated in the heart of Waterkloof Heights.
Prosopa’s extensive Mediterranean menu is influenced by the flavours of Greece, Portugal and Spain. The signature lamb dish Kleftiko is deboned leg of lamb wrapped in vine leaves & foil stuffed with feta, fresh tomato, herbs and spices and slow roasted in the oven. An option one cannot stay away from is the fantastic array of mezze one can have on a platter or individually.
The extensive award-winning wine list offers many a gem to be enjoyed beside the fireplace on a cold winter’s night or on the veranda with the curtains blowing in a soft summer breeze.
