I made a booking for dinner as it was my 50th birthday and my sons 23rd birthday.
Booking was efficient.
The complimentary soup was good.
The rolls were fresh but unfortunately doughy and the outer layer was a tad bit hard.
The starters calamari tubes and chicken livers were very good.
The prawns were absolutely amazing.
The rice that was served as a side was in my opinion not fresh as I would have expected.
The sirloin was good as well as the chicken. My son and spouses meal choices.
The dessert creme brûlée was divine.

For some strange reason, the reservation did not generate to the restaurant. I have the res number and they managed to locate it.
Service was good and the food was yummy.

We dined at Pigalle Melrose last night and had a delicious dinner. This is our third visit there during a Restaurant Week, and they have maintained their standards. Gift, our waiter was superb and the manageress was very hands on. The food was of excellent quality and this time we were given a bigger variety Restaurant Week menu (compared to previously), to choose from which we really appreciated. We did battle a bit with the main course prawns, as the shells stuck to the meat and the rice was a bit bland, but their homemade chips and the prawn flavour was divine. Their Creme Brulee dessert is outstanding. There were a lot of diners last night so the restaurant was a bit noisy but it was still a really great dining experience!
