The look, feel and ambience at Coobs is definitely 10/10!

The waiters were friendly and welcoming. However; they were just doing their regular job. It wasn’t any different to visiting a Spur restaurant. They made no comment on our menu choices and they only checked up on us once when we had our mains. It was just the routine take the orders, deliver the food.
The food was well plated and absolutely delicious. The portions were also quite generous. Thank you for a good dinning experience.
We had a delicious 3 course meal at Coobs with friends. The service is attentive, the food is delicious and well presented. I think Coobs offers incredible value - its not cheap but the meals are Masterchef quality. If its a nice evening, get a table on the deck (street side).
We had a fantastic evening of delicious food!
We booked for Friday lunch after work at Coobs in Parkhurst. I had the restaurant week menu for R200 for 2 courses and then you can add dessert or an extra course for an additional R50. The Korean chicken was delicious as was the fish cake starter. We didn't do the wine pairing but I do think it's a lovely option.
Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch. We will be back soon.

About Coobs
Coobs
Coobs is a eclectic contemporary bistro set in the bustling fourth ave in parkhurst in a new centre, its modern architecture goes well with the look and feel presented at Coobs. Coobs sources their produce from local suppliers and organic farms to create unique modern bistro-style food. Close to 75% of ingredients come from our organic farm ‘Brightside’ in the Magaliesburg. The farm has been part of Chef James Diack’s family for more than 20 years and is now the main source for his food. “We grew up on that farm; I was a city boy in the week and a farm child on the weekend, wrecking everything in my dirt-biking path.” It is such a pleasure to know where one’s food is coming from, to be able to trace it to its roots and thats what us at Coobs care about so deeply. Everything from vegetables and herbs to pork, lamb and wild boar is free-range and organic.
