There was a good vibe in the restaurant and it was pretty full when we arrived. The starters were good, the spring rolls were however just spring rolls, nothing wow. But they were very good. I enjoyed the main, but I asked for medium fish and they brought it seared. The green salad was not great. it was flavourless and bland. I loved the crust on and the crispness of the salmon skin. I loved the Toblerone dessert much more than the option that came with the menu I chose. The white chocolate was far too sweet and could not be finished. The Toblerone was beautiful!
The napkins were damp and they did not have all their wine in stock. They also would not even substitute ice cream for cream if we did not like ice cream which annoyed me a little. Other than that we had a lovely evening, with good food and we will be back to try the regular menu options.
I really like the garden setting.
Negatives:
1. The napkins were damp - apparently they do their own laundry (don't know what that is about)
2. They did not have the wine we ordered
3. My son could not eat his steak because it was too tough.
4. The set options that could not be interchanges - not even ice-cream...

Positives:
1. Portion sizes were quite large.
2. Both the spring rolls and the chicken liver starters were very tasty.
3. The salmon was ok. It needed a bit more seasoning and my daughter's "medium" salmon was just seared.
4. Dessert was delicious although after the spring rolls I felt there was too much of deep fried phyllo pastry going on.
The maitre d was very attentive and apologetic about the steak and quite a treat.
All in all a good experience and will definitely go back to perhaps have breakfast or brunch.
Great service and good food with beautiful surroundings
Between our table we took the Option 1 and 2!
Presentation was a bit clumsy.
Starters - unfortunately the veggie spring rolls was half cold, the chicken livers was tasty though.

Mains - The Salmon was lovely, however the steak was tough the chef did come to apologize as it was served that he had comments re the toughness of the meat, "must have been a bad batch"
The dessert was awesome! Definitely a dessert chef.
My wife and I had a most delicious lunch yesterday. There was a choice of 3 menus. We chose no. 1 which included a mushroom, spinach and cammebord cheese starter followed by delicious chicken with wild rice and spinach.
Service was excellent as well as the ambience. One really feels that one is out in the country.
Well done and we will definately return.
