Loved this little gem! From the time you step out your car to the moment your shown to the table, you are treated like royalty.

The waiters and hosts were friendly and attentive and extremely efficient. It's really great to see how well all the staff know the drinks and food menu. The ambience is relaxing and peaceful. You could spend hours taking it easy on the restaurant porch.

The food was delicious and we'll proportioned. My favourite bring the Eton Mess dessert.

Will definitely be back for more!!

Outstanding. From beginning to end. I can not fault anything. My pork main did come a bit dry but when sent back I got a new one in minutes that was super delicious. Soup was spicy was full of flavour, cured salmon was beautiful and had everything you could want. Pork (second one) I just devoured. Flourless chocolate pudding with toasted marshmallow and honey comb ice cream was hands down the best dessert I have ever eaten in my life. 5 stars... 10/10 I will be back next year!

We had an incredible evening at AtholPlace. Our catering needs were addressed by the manager prior to our arrival (they even emailed to confirm whether they needed to accommodate any children). We were a group of 6 adults (halaal catered for too) and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. On arrival we were welcomed in the bar area with substantial complimentary bar snacks of nuts, samoosas, biltong, etc which we enjoyed with Almenkerk Sauvignon Blanc. The wine list was extensive and included some of our favourites from off the beaten track. Our meal was superb and the sea bass a particular favourite. The eton mess for dessert was also a win. We enjoyed the ambience so much and the waiters left us to savour our wine til long after we were done with our meal. Never rushing us but being attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant in the heart of Sandton.
