The food and service was great! Steaks cooked to perfection! Definitely worth the outing. Makes it to the top of my list of steakhouses.
We had a delightful evening. The food was was good and it seemed like everyone around us was also having a great time. We could not exactly pinpoint the style of the decor but the staff and their competence was truly something that exceeded all else.
The menu itself was executed well. The Sirloin steak a tad chewy but flavours were elegant and simple and just invited to a great Friday night.

We had the steaks for mains and was cooked to perfect temperature. We also had the Malva for dessert which ended our evening off on a deliciously sweet note. We feel this restaurant and the Restaurant Week menu we had was great value for money and the house wine included in the price was a really nice addition. I think this restaurant is perfect for date night but would also highly recommend this for families.
What a breath taking restaurant, the food is to die for, I couldn't get enough. I'll definitely recommend it.

The Bull Run opened its doors on 28 October 2000 to a welcoming crowd of South Africans and visitors from around the world. Situated in the ever-growing and bustling financial district, The Bull Run sits at the base of the Protea Hotel by Marriottยฎ Johannesburg Balalaika Sandton, a treasured destination for travellers.

In July 2018 The Bull Run reopened its doors after an extensive refurbishment. Award-winning interior designer Tristan Du Plessis of Studio A masterfully designed an experience that is both warm and welcoming, with a clever nod to the New York Stock Exchange and the classic NY grill house. Custom light fttings, plush furniture and handmade wall tiles contribute to the comfortable and evocative space.
The Bull Run takes its name from the financial term, referring to a period when prices rise on the financial market and any investment is a winning one. Our story continues, in honour of good food, great steaks, welcome travellers, and the growth and success of a market in one of the most beautiful, diverse and progressive countries in the world.
